Washing

Your sails are cleaned from soak and stains in the sail washing solution. The remaining stubborn stains are cleaned with a special brush and washing machine using sail washing shampoo. During all these operations it is ensured that the sail cloth and the apressin are not damaged. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee of cleaning the oil and rust stains on the fabric.

Control

The washing and drying of the finished sails are controlled in detail from the wind hairs to their seams. Repair work is reported to our customer and price confirmation is awaited to start work.

Repair

We are repairing your sails with high quality yarns resistant to sun and sea water. All materials and accessories we use are of original or better quality. Windfoot changes are also included in the winter maintenance fee. The cost of the repair and the approved repair materials and spare materials used (price of the nail, fabric, balen etc.) are added to the winter maintenance price.

Winter care

You can extend the life of your sails with regular winter care. UK Sailmakers are doing sail winter maintenance all over Turkey with extensive service network.

Lazy Bag

Lazy Bag is definitely the easiest way to collect and collect your main sail from the sun. Our sail storage systems are a mixture of acrylic sail jacket and lazy jack. Just leave your mandarin so that your main sail is settled into the UK-Lazy Bag, it will suffice to take the zipper to close the sheath. Within minutes, your main sail is easily collected and protected from the sun.

UV Band Replacement

The UV Band is made with a special fabric that is manufactured to prevent your sail from wearing out in the sun. When you have a problem with your UV band, you need to change it as quickly as possible to protect your sail from UV rays. UV The tape is made of acrylic, sticky dakron or UV dakron. The sewing thread we use at the same time is also UV-resistant and durable. We change the corner columns in the UV band changes and use the leather in the reinforcement as it is in the new sails. We mostly use heavy duty sail sewing machines to change the salt and sunburned corner in the UV band changes. If these machines and the right materials are not used, the change of the UV band will definitely not be correct and it will look worse than the previous one and will not be protected.

Sail Adaptation

Most repairs we do are to repair rips and tears, but we offer more in our workshops. We can add extra dolls to the main sail, and we can translate them to standard dolly, full dolly. If you have difficulty pushing and lowering your main sail, we can replace your existing sleds with better working systems
